Antifragile Design · Real-World Lessons

Real life antifragile design

Two scoops of dirt and both “redundant” lines were gone. Same physical path, two different companies. That story shows the gap perfectly.

Two contracts do not create two routes. When the cables share the same ditch, one dig takes both down. Recovery time is only the symptom. The real issue is that the backup was never independent.

Lumen Dual Path is one way to close that gap: routes engineered and verified as separate, plus AI tools that help spot and switch around trouble faster. Design for that and the next surprise costs less.

Nice to see, Jim Fowler.
