So pleased to be co-authoring Designed for Volatility with Yair.
Much has been written about how disruptive technologies reshape workflows. We believe AI is only the beginning. New technologies and shocks will keep stacking on top of one another. The companies that thrive will not be the ones that simply harden their systems. They will be the ones that deliberately design a corporate architecture built for this environment.
That architecture must do two things at once: protect the core elements of the business that cannot fail, and create space for intelligent, bounded experimentation at the edges. Just as important is the culture that surrounds it—one that strengthens the capacity of people at every level to exercise wise judgment under pressure and makes that judgment a genuine source of value.
Designed for Volatility is the playbook for getting there.
Yair’s post captures the heart of the argument: stop treating antifragility as a technology problem and start treating it as a design problem for the company itself.
Proud to be building this with him.
